With more than 25 years experience in all facets of communications, Kadi’s expertise ranges from communications strategy development, communications planning, integrated marketing communications, media relations, issues and crisis management, social media and media training. Known for her creativity and results focus, she’s developed a reputation for building plans and programs that meet clients’ business objectives.
Kadi has worked with Katherine for the past five years on a range of clients including Pet Valu, Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, Wicker Emporium, Junior Achievement of Central Ontario, Student CarShare, Sofina Foods, Town of Smooth Rock Falls, French’s, Closing the Gap Healthcare, Webware.io, and Myseum of Toronto.
Prior to that, Kadi spent 12 years as a Senior Vice President at Hill + Knowlton Strategies, a global PR consultancy, where she worked with clients such as Coca Cola, Virgin Mobile, American Express, Sick Kids Hospital Foundation, Loblaw Companies Limited, Reckitt Benckiser, The Royal Canadian Mint, Avon, Procter & Gamble, The Hudson Bay Company, Maple Leaf Foods, Sofina Foods, CanadaHelps, Plan Canada, The University of Toronto, Microsoft and Interac, among numerous others.
Upon graduating from Ryerson University’s Journalism program, Kadi worked as a reporter at a Toronto daily newspaper and then managed communications and marketing for two Toronto community colleges before entering the agency world. She joined Optimum Public Relations (a Cossette company) where she led programs for Canada Post Corporation, Bell Mobility, Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation and GSK. After Optimum, Kadi worked at OEB International, a mid-sized communications agency where she rose from Account Director to Managing Director of the two-office company.
Kadi serves on the volunteer Board of Directors of Heritage Toronto and volunteers for The Bentway. She’s a film lover and veteran TIFF and Hot Docs attendee. She has travelled extensively and is usually planning at least two trips at once.
